Cummel is a grant father now!!! His daughter Kaya van de Tuindershof gave birth to 6 puppies (3 males / 3 females) today. Stud is Dreamtime Hunters Mephisto Dobbie, he is a son of Bill from the Flanders Joy Kennel.

Mini and Peter have earned a field trial qualification during Mini's very first field trial weekend: a second price (very good) in junior class, well done!
On the show in Sundsvall Mini got an "excellent" mark. She now meets all requirements to be listed as breeding bitch from the Swedish Weimaranerclub.

Mini beats her own result after 5 days with maximum points on a hunting test, even in open class: 10/10 water retrieving and 10/10 trial retrieving, wow!!!

Mini passed today the eftersök-test in junior class with great results: 9/10 on water and 10/10 on trial retrieving. Now she is qualified for the field trials this fall, big congrats Peter and Minimaus!

Nova (Mercedez x Cummel) has passed the swedish hunting test "Eftersöksgrenar" in open class with 8/10 points for retrieving and 7/10 points for tracking. With this result she is qualified for the field trials during this year, congratulations and good luck in the autumn!

today we made our last visit to the puppies of Daika & Cummel, one week left with mum to leave to their new homes... enthusiastic new owners cant wait to take them home, a life full of adventures can start! Good luck to all of you, hope to see you back at the club match and hunting tests.
Of course, "Waidmannsheil" in the hunting fields, but first they have to learn everything!

Mini, our "fosterling" weimaraner bitch from last year is doing well in Sweden with Hanne & Peter!
- her hips are tested (HD-B)
- she got first experience in practical hunting
- she went to a field trial course
- she did the metal test with nice results

Today we have visited the puppies from Daika and Cummel, they have a super home with Wendy en Bert and mum Daika takes very good care of them. Around 14 of june they will go to their new homes.

Gawonii (Mercedez x Cummel) has participated the mental test in Sweden too. The judge described her as very social and happy, having a big hunting passion.
This test was the last condition Gawonii had to meet in order to be listed as a breeding bitch (W1) of the Swedish Weimaranerclub.

Gino (Mercedez x Cummel) has done the mental test in Sweden. During this test social behaviour and hunting passion are described, also how the dogs react in unknown situations. There is always a test on shooting. On Gino's website are more pictures and the report.

The litter from Daika & Cummel is born!!!
Daika gave birth to 6 puppies, 4 boys and 2 girls. She is a very lovely mother! We cannot wait to see them!

We have got some beautiful new pictures of Cummel's son Gino, 2 years old now. An impressive young dog! Very busy with hunting training right now, till next hunting/trial season starts.

Today we received Cummel's official DNA certificate (ISAG 2006 nomenclature) of the Belgium Kennel Club "St. Hubertus". From 2009 it is obligated for each breeding dog in Belgium.

Puppies from Cummel on the way!!! On February 16th Daika was mated to our Cummel. If all goes well, we expect the litter to be born around 20th of April.
Because parents and grand parents are good hunters, we expect very good hunting abilities from this combination. Some puppies are already reserved by hunters. Please, find more information about the litter here.

Today the challenge cups were handed over. Cummel wins the challenge cup Field Trial 2008 from the Belgium Weimaraner Club!!! Only results from field trials held in Belgium are counting for this cup, so Cummel won with his two qualifications the first place and was also the only one on the list in 2008.

In Belgium sometimes we can have real winter time too! Today we made our morning walk by 10 degrees below zero in a wonderful white fairy tale landscape! We could even walk on the ice of a pond, Cummel wondered why he must not swim this time!
